In order to support the development of new knowledge and practices in all areas of health by enabling academic studies and scientific research in the field of health sciences, regular training meetings are organized for physicians and nurses with the participation of speakers and guests from both within and outside the institution.
Başkent University Hospital organizes a wide range of educational programs in its hospitals to raise public awareness, provide guidance, and support solutions, aiming to foster a society of healthy individuals, raise healthy generations, and promote sustainable healthy living.
Various health-related topics are addressed in these programs, and questions from viewers are also evaluated.
Topics such as principles of healthy nutrition, nutritional therapies for diseases, healthy food preparation and cooking techniques, and the evaluation of food properties are discussed to raise awareness in these areas. In addition, different topics in healthcare are discussed with the participation of health professionals to increase public awareness.
In the program “Journey Back to Life,” interviews are conducted with patients who have started a new life after liver, kidney, and heart transplants performed at Başkent University Hospital, as well as with donors and patients’ relatives.
Purpose of the Magazine:
To inform all our readers who receive or will receive services from our hospital about health-related topics; to provide explanations and guidance on symptoms, progression, and possible treatment methods of diseases; and to enhance public awareness of preventive healthcare services by sharing the knowledge and experience of our physicians.
