Companion Admission

  • In double rooms, a companion is admitted if deemed appropriate by the patient’s physician and hospital administration.
  • In single private rooms, companion admission is permitted in our hospital.

 

Companion Rules

  • Companions must comply with established rules to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Electrical switches and taps must not be left on.
  • Smoking and the use of alcoholic substances are prohibited within the hospital.
  • Beds must be kept clean and orderly; companions must not sit on patient beds.
  • The ward nurse must be informed of any change in companions.
  • The number of companions is limited to one person.
  • Companions must care for the patient in accordance with physician instructions and comply with institutional discipline.
  • Bringing food and beverages into the hospital is prohibited, except for water, cologne, and personal care items.
  • Patients and companions must not damage the equipment and devices provided for their use.
  • Companions must cooperate with physicians and healthcare staff during the patient’s diagnosis and treatment process.
  • Patient rooms must be vacated during medical rounds.
  • Hospital hygiene rules must be observed.

 

Dialysis Center Companion Policy

In order to protect the patient’s physical, psychological, and social privacy during healthcare service delivery, patient relatives are not allowed into dialysis halls as part of the companion policy. However, for special patient groups such as pediatric patients, individuals with substance dependency, and pregnant patients, a first-degree relative may be allowed to accompany the patient.
