In accordance with the Patient Rights Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 01.08.1998 and numbered 23420, everyone who applies to Başkent University Hospital to receive healthcare services has the following rights:

 

Right to Benefit from Services in General

To benefit from activities aimed at promoting a healthy life and from preventive healthcare services within the framework of justice and equity.

 

Right to Information and Request Information

To learn about all services and facilities provided at Başkent University Hospital and to request all information regarding their health status, either verbally or in writing.

 

Right to Choose and Change the Institution and Personnel

To choose and change the healthcare institution, physicians, and personnel providing services, and to learn their identities, duties, and titles.

 

Right to Privacy

To receive all healthcare services in an environment that ensures confidentiality.

 

Right to Refuse, Stop Treatment and Give Consent

To refuse or request the cessation of treatment, to have consent obtained for medical interventions, and to benefit from services within the scope of such consent.

 

Right to a Safe Environment

To receive healthcare services in a safe environment.

 

Right to Fulfill Religious Obligations

To fulfill religious obligations within the means of our hospital and within the framework of administrative measures.

 

Right to Respect and Comfort

To receive respectful, attentive, considerate, friendly, and compassionate healthcare services in an वातावरण where all hygienic conditions are ensured and noise and disturbing factors are eliminated.

 

Right to Visitors

To accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by Başkent University Hospital.

 

Right to Have a Companion

To request a companion in accordance with legislation, within the capabilities of healthcare institutions, and if deemed appropriate by the physician.

 

Right to Application, Complaint, and Legal Action

In case of violation of rights, to exercise all rights of application, complaint, and legal action within the framework of legislation.

 

Right to Continuous Service

To benefit from healthcare services as long as necessary.
