Quality History of Başkent University Hospitals and Healthcare Institutions

The foundation of quality activities at Başkent University dates back to the early years of the university’s establishment. Continuous quality improvement efforts in Başkent University Hospitals and Research and Application Centers have been systematized since 1997. Within this framework, all centers comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard and are certified by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). The objectives of Quality Management in our hospitals are:

  • To ensure the sustainability of the “Quality Culture” established in our hospitals,
  • To provide qualified healthcare services in line with international standards,
  • To continuously evaluate patient care in all aspects,
  • To identify problems before they occur,
  • To employ qualified personnel and support their continuous development through training.
